Firefighter/Paramedic

 

The Town of Longmeadow, MA seeks applicants for consideration in filling current and future Firefighter/EMT positions.  Applicants must possess a valid drivers license, and be a certified EMT-Paramedic, or provide proof of enrollment in current certification program.  Preference given to those applicants who are certified as Paramedic with Fire suppression experience in an organized Fire Department, or Mass Fire Academy Recruit Training graduates.  Successful candidates must be able to pass extensive medical examination and physical agility exam as established by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Human Resources Division.  Starting annual base salary range $38,378- $45,188.  Applications are available at Longmeadow Human Resource Department, 735 Longmeadow Street, Longmeadow, MA  01106.  Application deadline is Friday, March 28, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.  Women, Minorities and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.  AA/EEO.
